And he's off! Traveling with the prized baton that is his to carry on his leg of the journey. Hustling with his eye glancing every now and then at the goal... his finish line. This is the place where he will hand off to the next runner who is to take charge of the carrying for their leg of the race.
Giving it his all.
Glad to be cheered for along the way.
And joy... running with a beautiful smile for all to see the happiness in his heart at making this run.
What if we all woke up each day and realized we are in the race... each on our leg of the journey, carrying what God has given us to carry as far as our part of the relay goes. We are glad when we are cheered for and encouraged. Giving our all and keeping our eye on our finish. Thanks to God for the race to which we are called.
May our smile radiate the joy of Christ and our enthusiasm to be on this journey with him,
- the reason for our happiness of heart.
